It was over 7 months ago when I had a call from my friend Dennis who had just finished restoring his 1970 Dodge Challenger. Within no time photos were taken for Dennis’s records and sent off to the guys over at Classic Car. Exciting to say that this 6.3-litre sublime machine is now gracing the cover, which is out at all good bookstores today!

Dennis sure has a collection of cars that would make all of us green with envy including some fantastic corvettes and this spotless1970 Dodge Challenger R/T.

It took Dennis and his friend Peter 18 months to put this beast together after purchasing the car from the mighty Wairarapa. From the ground up, everything has been replaced or restored.  Pick up a copy of the latest Classic Car magazine to see and read more on this beast!

A big shout out must go to the man behind the design of the Challenger in this issue, Mark Curran. His enthusiasm and skills behind the computer still amazes me! You will have all seen his vector drawing at some stage!
